I came across a great tip for toddler safety I thought I would share. For new walkers, socks can be too slippery on hard floors and cause falls. You don't always want to have your little one in shoes indoors, but at least where we live it's too cold in the mornings not to have something on her feet. For some reason, it seems that most sock manufacturers don't bother with slip proof tread on their socks, so this creates a problem. Here's an easy, inexpensive solution. Simply put dots of soft fabric paint on the bottom of your little one's socks! Easy peasy. You can get a six pack of assorted colors for $5.99 from Amazon here: http://www.amazon.com/Scribbles-Dimensional-Fabric-Paint-Pkg/dp/B002JPVH60/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1286919573&sr=8-
